Dr. John Taddie,
Chief Scientific Officer
John Taddie, Ph.D. brings over 20 years of experience in molecular biology and over 10 years of experience in DNA paternity and family relationship testing to DNA Services of America. Dr. Taddie received his B.S. in Microbiology from Penn State University in 1986, obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Cornell University in 1992, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in 1995.
Following his postdoctoral studies, his passion for science and his genuine desire to help people led him to the field of DNA relationship testing and the position of Laboratory Director and General Manager of Long Beach Genetics, Inc. In this capacity, Dr. Taddie was responsible for all operational and administrative functions, as well as the business development and financial performance, of a high-volume, AABB-accredited DNA laboratory comprised of specimen acquisition, laboratory testing, customer service, and billing divisions.
In his nine years with Long Beach Genetics, Dr. Taddie supervised more than 150,000 DNA paternity and family relationship tests and testified as an expert witness in over 45 civil and criminal DNA trials. He also served as an appointed member of the internationally recognized AABB Parentage/Relationship Testing Standards Program Unit, and was a contributing writer to the 6th and 7th Editions of the AABB's Standards for Parentage/Relationship Testing Laboratories.

Jeffrey Martin,
Founder & CEO
Jeffrey Martin is a seasoned executive with a track record of leading companies to success by providing clients the highest quality product and an extraordinary service experience, the principles upon which DNA Services of America ("DNASOA") was founded. Before founding DNASOA, Mr. Martin applied these principles in both the real estate market and the healthcare industry. He built and sold a successful real estate development company and turned a flailing insurance examination company into the largest provider of insurance examinations for the life insurance industry in his area.
While attending Louisiana State University, Mr. Martin worked for a leading provider of paramedical services. Upon graduation from LSU with a B.S. in Finance, Mr. Martin was offered the opportunity to own and operate an independent office for that paramedical company. Under his dynamic leadership, his organization experienced unprecedented growth, increasing its revenue by 800% and reached its goal for a remarkable 85% market share. After thirteen years in business, his company had not only become the largest provider of insurance examinations in his area, but his office was also recognized as the second best office out of 280 offices company-wide for quality, turnaround time and communication.
Mr. Martin sold his paramedical company in 2005 to strictly pursue development of DNASOA's DNA testing services and franchise programs. Mr. Martin is passionate about helping those that need answers to questions through DNA-based testing services in a more personal manner through a community-based approach, and has committed himself to making a difference by founding DNA Services of America, Inc.

John Caro, Jr.
President and COO
A native of New Orleans, La., John comes to DNA Services of America with over 19 years of experience in management and finance. After going into the family insurance and securities business in 1990 John sold that business in 1995 to join the management team of a major group benefits company in Dallas,TX. Due to a corporate buyout, John left the insurance industry and entered the retail industry with Neiman Marcus in 1997. While at Neiman Marcus John successfully turned around a poorly performing clothing line, helping revitalize it and increasing sales and gross margins for the company.
In 2000 John moved to Lafayette to enter the banking industry with Bank One and proceeded to turn around a poorly performing branch by increasing the asset size by $20MM which led to increased profitability. Leaving Bank One in 2003 John joined the team of MidSouth Bank and proceeded to turn around the bank's corporate headquarters branch by increasing the asset size, streamlining processes and procedures and putting together and developing a strong sales and service team. Due to this success and John's vast knowledge of the various Small Business Administration programs available, John was asked in 2005 to start a new Small Business Division for the bank and was promoted to the position of Small Business Manager.
With a very limited budget John proceeded to implement a strategy and vision which not only led to the bank achieving its goals of bringing new small business clients to the bank, but also positioned the bank to become known for its willingness to work and consult with Small Business clients which many institutions take for granted. After a strategic change in 2008, the Small Business Division was disbanded which allowed the opportunity for John to join the DNA Services of America team.
John earned his B.S. in Finance and Masters Of Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
